Mighty Asparagus

I love a well cooked asparagus, especially the soft tops of it. I admire people who know how to cook/grill asparagus with different oils, sauces, and spices or add it to a salad. This time, I'd love to share inspiring photos from 500px of how asparagus can be creatively cooked.

Asparagus is high in glutathione, an important anticarcinogen


It also contains rutin, which protects small blood vessels from rupturing and may protect against radiation





Asparagus has been used to treat problems involving inflammation, such as arthritis and rheumatism, and may also be useful for PMS-related water retention

An excellent addition to the diet during pregnancy because asparagus is a good source of folic acid

Asparagus is a nutrient-dense food which in high in Folic Acid and is a good source of potassium, fiber, vitamin B6, vitamins A and C, and thiamin
