Model Profile: Elizaveta

Hello favourites! I am convinced that about 99.9% of people who have Elizaveta on their Facebook friend list, have a visual crush on her. Am I right? I am, obviously, included. This is the exact reason why I wanted to share her beauty on my blog's territory, and that people who don't have her as a Facebook friend {that is how we measure friendship in this millennium, fyi - by Facebook friendships} will finally have a chance to discover how gorgeous this girl is.
Liza (Elizaveta) is a professional model and should stay in the model industry...forever. She is signed with Sutherland Models in Toronto and has travelled to model in Japan, Greece, New York, to name a few. Despite being considered short (173cm) by the modelling standards, Elizaveta's beauty is in a great demand, because as all of us can see - height can surely be re-thinked with the face like hers.
In all honestly, I do not think that "the height centimetres" should matter much. Even though clothes look better on taller people, the audience at the shows {and the ones who look at the magazines} are more supportive of someone like them. I even think that is why personal style bloggers trend became popular, because people want to see "realistic" people.

My very realistic yet un-earthy beautiful friend/acquaintance Elizaveta delighted my Miss S-a Headbands business with modelling for me a few years ago. I was surprised to see how down-to-earth and energetic this girl was. She was probably the best model I have worked with - poses-wise. She just stood in front of Evgeni Tchebotarev's, our superior photographer, camera and worked her posing magic. These photos remain my the most favourite.

Here are a few more pictures of classical beauty to make you re-think yourself. Just joking! We all love to admire beauty; girls even more then guys :)

Okay, I am clearly having a trouble of uploading just a few more. So, here you go another shipment!

Style-piration of the Day: Frilled Tail Party

via google search
I remember seeing this image somewhere before and being amazed by the craftsmanship of this stunning dress. What a great untraditional number for a wedding dress: light peach with some leg show off.
Happy Thursday everyone!

Leandra Medine at the Met Gala 2012?

Alexander McQueen
Did the Man Repeller take over the Met Gala 2012 in New York City yesterday? I wish and you wish. I do not want to sound like a crazy fan, but the girl is crazy fun and I love it about her. She would definitely wear something worth talking, thinking, and yes, laughing about. And of course I would have loved to see what the bow tie & leopard print fanatic would wear to the pop your boobs out in a long tailed dress formal event such as the Met Gala
Here are a few of my suggestions for Leandra. What do you think? :)
{Prabal Gurung}
{Comme des Garcons}

PS. Where was Kate Moss, Blake Lively, and Lady Gaga that night?

The Met Gala 2012

My favourite Mad Men actress, January Jones, looking stunning and
classy in the futuristic Versace dress and Cartier necklace
Yesterday, on May the 8th, 2012, one of the most fashionably important events of the year happened in New York - The Met Costume Institute Gala. As well, as the celebration of the new exhibition "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations". It is incredible that the exhibition consists of works of the two most influential designers in the fashion history.
Let me tell you, the conversations will be very possible if I get to see the exhibition.
I find that the most incredible moment about this year's Met Gala is that there was a live video streaming from the voguemagazine.com. It was a great way to share the experience the atmosphere at the gala's venue ... among with the screaming photographers. By the way, it made me feel great sitting home in my penguin patterned shorts and a neon yellow top and feeling a bit sorry for the celebrities and the media pressure on them. Not only they have to represent themselves in their best, but also showcase their sponsored gowns, accessories and sometimes try to walk the stairs in impossibly tight&long dresses. Ah, now how great it feels to be a regular {yet quite awesome} redheaded individual!
Personally, Amy Adam's look was one of my favourites of the night. She looked very glamorous, clean and classic in her Giambattista Valli dress.
I read many negative reviews on Sarah Jessica Parker's Met Gala's look, yet I find she looked lovely in her floral Valentino dress. Perhaps, I am just a huge fan of hers and I think she makes any fashion item look spectacular and stylish.
Rooney Mara's long black lace Givenchy dress looked divinely perfect on her. I very much enjoyed her dramatic look that suits the star very well.
If I ever get married again or re-married or do a pretend wedding, I will want to wear that Marchesa dress. This dress exactly confirms why Marchesa is a formal dress maestro and detailing genius. Sofia Vergara was probably thinking of how to incorporate ethos dress into the everyday wear, since one should not try to take off this dress once it is on.
Lily Collins in would be my perfect magical forest babushka-friend. Not because of her personality or acting abilities, because of her her natural makeup with great eyebrows and beautiful Valentino dress. Very feminine and Victorian, what's not to love?
Lana Del Rey. Lana Del Rey. Lana Del Rey. You all must know that she is my current mega obsession, and seeing her on the red carper at the Met Gala was a goosebumps moment for me. She looked like a sexy young version of the woman with a poisoned apple from the Sleeping Beauty in her Alturaza dress. This caped look with a bling-ed dress under is exactly how I'd imagine Lana would look at a formal gala.
Camilla Belle looked spectacular in the form fitting Ralph Lauren dress. Even though there are no fireworks and loose threads to dirty talk about - this an awesome dress for the Met Gala. The gothic lip on Belle looks fantastic as well.
One could not notice Coca Rocha at the Met Gala - her bright pink hair ends and a duo highlighter pant outfit by Givenchy will not leave fashion critics silent.
Call me old-fashioned, but I don't approve of the outfit for the glamourous event as the Met Gala. It is not the pants and not the colours that blister my mind, but the whole casual look. I truly think that real glamour should be present at such events. One could wear pants, suits, but they should have that classic chic look with a touch of modern.
See, that is what I am talking about! Rachel Zoe and Karolina Kurkova in the dress by Mrs.Zoe. Very Hollywood chic, head-turning, press-worthy and of course turban-worthy.
One of my favourite designers, Zac Posen, has a great taste in women and I am not surprised he choose a very sexy actress Amber Heard, who wore a dress by Posen of course. Beautiful beautiful light raspberry colour for Amber. She looks like a fine lady from the 30s movies.
Muccia Prada knows fishy business and I know fishy business when I see one wearing it. Carey Mulligan pulled a great golden turned silver fish at the Met Gala in a brighter then the sun dress. I bet the reflective rays from all the camera flashes left someone blind.
I could probably stare at this photo above for the whole day or even a week. Jessica Biel looks just perfect, ideal, right, you name it. Every part of her look is very well done. The Prada dress she is wearing suits her frame incredibly. I love it how this {stunning} dress, that could easily be worn as a cocktail dress,  makes her look so chic for the such a big fashion event as a Met Gala
PS. Jessica's haircut make she drool as well :)
It does look like Kate Blanchet is overdue for a whole body wax, yet I would strongly suggest that she keeps her hairy treasuries. This Alexander McQueen dress is another great example of a proper gala wear.
I always look forward to seeing what Gwyneth Peltrow will wear to an event; will she go naked finally? The Prada number she is wearing has some of the fishy business that Mulligan is wearing, yet this one has more sex to it. I like this classically modern look on Gwyneth very much. Great choice, stylists!
Hey reader, stay stay stay on this page. You haven't skipped to the 18+ blog by an accident, we are still reviewing the Met Gala 2012 fashions. This is Anja Rubik, who is on the top list of my favourite models, wearing a Anthony Maccarello dress that got ripped to the hip bone...by an accident. I joke, I joke. I will say that Anja looks stunning and cool, yes cool, and very confident in this "you've already seen me naked" dress. However, are we ready to see her reproductive system?

You didn't think I would skip this photo, did you? Yes, it is the only man who is worth posting a picture of from the Met Gala. Honestly, I am not sure whether Ed Westwick wore a suit by  Chicky Pow Pow or Grrrrrr suit - all I can tell you he looked great.

DID YOU HEAR ? Anna Dello Russo + H&M, Fall 2012

You may stop pouring water glasses over your face, pinching your face, and rubbing your eyes - it is an awesome reality, not a dream, that a mega fashion icon Anna Dello Russo has created an accessory collection for H&M. The collection will hit the stores on October the 4th, 2012 - mark your calendars now, Dello Russo obsessors ! Her accessory collection will consist of about 40 pieces, which will include sunglasses, clutches, bracelets, shoes, bags and probably some other cool accessories Anna would wear.
In the video below, Anna talks about her inspiration for the H&M collection - and it lies in her personal style, her surroundings, and her marvellous apartment. You can also notice how the collection mainly focuses on the golds and turquoise - something that our lovely fashion icon is proudly known for.
I would be more then ecstatic, jumpy, and happy if I could the turquoise clutch with the fox, the must have alligator sunglasses - these are certainly a heirloom item, and a turquoise snake bracelet.
Fall Santa, please make my Dello Russo dream come true? I will feed the Rudolf, I promise.
