As my Christmas "window display obsession bonanza" continues, I am pleased to post more photos of fabulous retailers - the accessory emperor
Henri Bendel and crystal master
Baccarat.
One could not walk on the Fifth Avenue and not notice the cabaret girls and lights of Henri Bendel's windows. Yet, it's not what particularly captured my attention; it's the little barbie doll houses (as displays) with Barbies having a time of their life in them. The little houses had a walk-in closet with miniature shoes, clothes, accessories, a dining area, kitchen. In general, it was a dream Barbie house of
mine any little girl.
On my way home, my eyes spotted a very Christmas-spirited windows and my feet immediately took me to the Baccarat windows. Their window looked very homey, welcoming, comforting, yet very chic and upscale. As, Bergdorf Goodman's
windows, there were incredibly cute and real-looking white fur animals among merchandise. I thought it was a nice touch with animals, because they bring this special fairy tale feel to the Holiday displays. Plus, they definitely make pedestrians stop by and "awww" over the adorable creatures in the window.
