How to Repel Men Without Hurting Their Feelings

I often have been upset, yes upset, at the girls who stated that they didn't like the guy yet gave the guy the wrong signals. I either heard "But I cannot tell him that I don't like him, he will be upset and I don't want to hurt his feelings".
What was not understood is that the guy's feelings can be hurt even more if you lead on. Time is of an essence. Or perhaps, a girl enjoyed being liked by random people for her self-confidence-boosting reasons.
Contrary, it always bugged me when I knew somebody liked me (I want to believe so :)) very much, yet I didn't. I never wanted to hurt them (all 450,000 - I joke, I joke), so I always found ways on how to make myself look weird, obnoxious, and not worth spending time with. I did so with success.

I still hear a lot of stories from my girlfriends on how some guy is so annoying, yet they laughed at the guy's jokes, complimented them and promised to go out with them. That is why I decided to spend my time during this late hour to write the post on a cold war "adiu to the fella"  (late coffees are no good!)

The point of my blogpost is to make yourself look like a joke in order to make a guy instantly drop all his sexual desire towards you and think of you as of a sister.

Please remember, if you wish to succeed in your fans repulsion - you must be dedicated, willing to learn, and be results-oriented. Are you right for the job? Let's go!

Beginner Level

1. Interrupt a lot. Be selfish.
Found a world in his sentence that relates to you? Go ahead and relate. If he interrupts, say "Hold on, let me finish - this is important". You must do it repeatedly! This way, when he comes home he will realize that you are not a good listener, quite selfish, and love doing monologues.

2. Put in a friend-zone right away. Create an opposite-looking idol.
He is a tall blonde with short hair and no chest hair ? Well, then talk about how much you like Banderas, but you wish he was shorter. Tell him how it is your stereotype and you have never been wrong. Right away, ask what kind of girls he likes? He, if not a douche, will most likely describe your looks.
Disregard and play dumb like you didn't get it. In case, he still tries to win you over - tell him about your new crush and how you have flirted. Remember, opposite looks and characteristics.

3. Dress weird.
By saying dress weird - I do not mean become a circus clown, but dress in something super un-sexy. Please see examples below. Remember, be confident and act nonchalant about your outfit - it is your regular day wear. Repeat this in front of a mirror several times to believe it.

Oh no, don't wear it when going for a coffee - wear it to a restaurant or a lounge. If you don't get it because of you attire - argue how clothes should comfortable.
Okay, okay, this is Advanced Level, yet a hairdo like that the shoes like that to a club or a lounge will do the job.
Make sure to elaborate on your feelings about this sweater. It makes you feel like a bird. Raise your arms and show him your wings.

4. Use "OMG", "like", LOL"
Just use the aforementioned abbreviations as much as you can.
Ex." So, like, I study, in a like, university? (make a questionable face) And it is like across from the store. OMG! Is that a new watch on your wrist. It 's like amazing. Anyways, this store is like the best here. Once me and my friend came in , like, in the doorway and this guy screamed and we were like LOL!"
He will definitely mention that you use "like" a lot. Agree with him. In 2 minutes, continue the same. He will correct you again. Snap and tell him he is not , like, your father or, like, your husband. OMG!

5. Don't laugh at his jokes.
Guys always want to be funny. Girls love guys with a great sense of humour. I certainly do and it is on my priority list. So, whenever your date tells you a joke, act confused and ask him what was funny about it. Or just stay silent like you didn't know it was a joke.

Moderate Level

1. Use Instagram as much as you can.
This pisses men off very much, I tell you.
Remember, every little object, like a ripped sugar packet, can be an awesome find for your Instagram archive. Make sure, to apologize a lot and convince that by adding a right filter and as many hush tags you will get many followers. Feel free to ask your date on hash tag ideas, filter choice... doubt yourself often.

2. Ask him how much he makes.
Most guys/men hate this question when it comes from a woman they've just met. She is materialistic, you know ?
So, lady, this is exactly what you want. Materialistic bitch for a day, who cares?
" So, does your job pay well?", "Oh, yes, how much?", "Oh, I see....that is why you brought me here", "Do you think you will get a raise?", "Well, my ex-boyfriend made {insert a ridiculous amount}"
You can also ask what kind of car he drives, if he has paid it in full, where does he shop. Make sure to put a price tag on everything.

3. Act like an obnoxious princess.
He is picking you up? Stand by the car door and wait until he comes out and opens the door for you to sit down. Sit down, don't close the door. If he asks you to close the door, say :" Real ladies do not close doors" with a smile. Repeat the same when getting out of the car. Refuse to get out. Make sure to use "real ladies don't..." phrases at every instance. Opening restaurant doors, taking your coat, polishing your fork, putting sugar in your coffee, bringing your purse even if it hangs on your chair, etc.

4. Act jealous.
Who likes an overly jealous girlfriend? Nobody. And that is exactly what you are looking for.
He just bought you your herbal tea at a coffee shop, tell him right away: " Wow, you just stare-undressed that cashier girl". He will object. Just go with the "Yeah, right..." at first. Then as you sit, preferably in a busy place, ask him to concentrate on you. He will say that he is doing that. This time roll your eyes, through your "Yeah right", and a prolonged "All men are the same...Teresa was right". In a couple of minutes, tell him that he is more interested in his car/job/clothes/hobby/tv more then he is in you. (You can refer to that after he told you a certain story)

5. Be a picky eater.
This can be almost like an obnoxious princess section, yet this will only relate to beverages and food.
You are at a restaurant, pick a dish and when a waiter comes make sure to take good 15 minutes to ask about a dish "Soooo, how big is the plate?", "Which part of chicken it is? (even if the menu says chicken breast)", "What kind of leaves are in the salad?" , "Are they being washed properly in the kitchen?", "Do you make your dressing?", "Where do the tomatoes come from in the salad?" - if the waiter doesn't  know the answer, demand it. Remember, you need to know where your tomatoes are coming from, because there is no way that you can eat them if they were imported from California. Why not? Because, you have had bad experience while eating Californian tomatoes, and add: "It is personal".
Coffee Shop - what can you do here? Order a coffee, hopefully your date pays (it is better for the scenario), come to a milk/sugar station and act disappointed :" No brown sugar?", "Oh, Natrell milk - no way. Can you ask if they have Neilson?" If they don't, leave your coffee on the stand, and go in the search of a new coffee some place else.

Advanced Level
Please be my friend!

1. Period check-up.
Once you are out of the car/restaurant - ask your date if you don't have any spots on your pants/skirt. Girls, you know where I am going, right?
If he is really in the dark about your question, please go ahead and explain that women have these special days. Feel free to elaborate and tell him in detail about your cycle. Be serious.
You can also use "Tampons are so uncomfortable" or "Once I was swimming and then I see something is floating...." (Okay, finish the story here yourself). I guarantee, your dinner will end soon and you will least likely see the guy again.

2. Show off your "fix-ups" (plastic surgery explanations, appendix removal, braces, mole removal, acne scars - don't go into privates though)
Have you got a pimple? Blame your date for staring it. Say :" I have noticed how you looked at it. You know, there is nothing funny or interesting in it - I can squeeze and your can see for yourself". If he still looks in horror and distress why you have these genius thoughts in your head - ask the waiter for a mirror, alcohol and something sharp. Feel free to demonstrate pimple squeezing.
100% Dating/liking/sexing removal guaranteed.
Got braces? Ask if your date can see if you have a mango stuck in the back of your mouth. Show your teeth with wires in detail. Tell him funny stories of how everything usually gets stuck in there.

3. Have an unhealthy hobby.
Talk about how much you love little kittens. Tell him about your collection of little cards, photographs, Pinterest boards, stickers of little-little cute kittens. Tell him how much you like them when they "meww". Feel free to correct yourself when making a "meww"-sound. "No, no, no, the right way to mewww is meaaaww. Or not? Mewwwwrrr. God, kittens are so precious, but am I mewing right?"
No sex guaranteed.

4. "Where is it going?"
Even if you are on your first date and you see that the guy is very interested in you (even after he has checked that you have no spots on your pants and on his carseat), ask him :"So, where is our relationship going? I am 28, you know and I am ready to settle down. I am ready for my prince and I think you might be just him...." , pause and make a loud horse sound. Trust me your prince on white horse will run away to his kingdom as fast as he can.

5. Check your odour.
Let's say you are on the second date and you totally know you are not into the guy, but he very much is - do the following. Sit, talk, and then pause, start sniffing everything around and say :" Oh what is that smell?" , "Aaaaah, aaah, OMG!" pause and smell your armpit in disguise. "I smell like a man!" and look away in sadness. He will most likely be silent with significantly dilated pupils. Then, make an eye contact and whisper quietly: "You know, I have tried everything, but this smell! Oh God! Could you tell me what use to fight it?" If he answers this question and still sitting with you 20 minutes later, marry him. I joke, we must not get there at any circumstances. So, if that failed - tell him about the smell from your feet. Advice him on the ancient recipe you found online on how to fight it and how it has been working for a while, but then it stopped. Yet, then you went to a Chinese doctor, who advised you to put mayo on your feet during the night and that it worked well....knock knock on the wood.

6. Talk in songs.
Be a music fanatic. He tells you a sentence you sing a line from a song as a reply. At first it will be fun, later it will annoy the **** out of him. If he is annoyed, ask him to use his creativity and sing back a line.
PS. Do sing in annoying voice.

7.  No talk, just emotions.
Let's say the guy who has been staring at you the whole night and you 100% know has a mega crush on you, finally sits down to talk to you. (This will be ideal if you would be sitting together with him where there are no others, just in a corner room of a party)
So, he comes to you says hello. You just smile, blink a lot and look at him. He asks you something. You giggle without opening your lips, smile, and blink a lot. You must remain consistent for this to work. Look interested. Feel free to use your inner horse giggle while looking at him. Don't open your lips.
This will work with success beyond imaginable. Even if he has left you and approached you 2 hours later at the party, do the same as you have done before.

By practicing one of the above practices mentioned above on any proficiency level, I can guarantee you will be stalker, fan, boyfriend, husband - free. Just be persistent in your practice, even if it takes 2-3 dates. If one tactic doesn't work, remember you can always mix and match practices - that will make you in a real wierdo!  If all fails and the guy is still calling you after you have Instagrammed a 5 cent coin in 20 different ways,  switched 8 coffee places, because they didn't have spender in a green packet, and he watched you squeeze a pimple at a dinner table - perhaps, you should consider marrying him. (And, no, that is not how I got married)

In conclusion, I forbid you saying: "I just don't like you" and "You are not my type" to a guy at any point. You will lead on more. Guys just will be more challenged and will try to prove you wrong. Therefore, do practice any technique to be a power repeller.

Model Profile: Elizaveta

Hello favourites! I am convinced that about 99.9% of people who have Elizaveta on their Facebook friend list, have a visual crush on her. Am I right? I am, obviously, included. This is the exact reason why I wanted to share her beauty on my blog's territory, and that people who don't have her as a Facebook friend {that is how we measure friendship in this millennium, fyi - by Facebook friendships} will finally have a chance to discover how gorgeous this girl is.
Liza (Elizaveta) is a professional model and should stay in the model industry...forever. She is signed with Sutherland Models in Toronto and has travelled to model in Japan, Greece, New York, to name a few. Despite being considered short (173cm) by the modelling standards, Elizaveta's beauty is in a great demand, because as all of us can see - height can surely be re-thinked with the face like hers.
In all honestly, I do not think that "the height centimetres" should matter much. Even though clothes look better on taller people, the audience at the shows {and the ones who look at the magazines} are more supportive of someone like them. I even think that is why personal style bloggers trend became popular, because people want to see "realistic" people.

My very realistic yet un-earthy beautiful friend/acquaintance Elizaveta delighted my Miss S-a Headbands business with modelling for me a few years ago. I was surprised to see how down-to-earth and energetic this girl was. She was probably the best model I have worked with - poses-wise. She just stood in front of Evgeni Tchebotarev's, our superior photographer, camera and worked her posing magic. These photos remain my the most favourite.

1. Feather Headband 2. Vintage Beige 3. Pink & Roses
Here are a few more pictures of classical beauty to make you re-think yourself. Just joking! We all love to admire beauty; girls even more then guys :)

Okay, I am clearly having a trouble of uploading just a few more. So, here you go another shipment!

Style-piration of the Day: Frilled Tail Party

via google search
I remember seeing this image somewhere before and being amazed by the craftsmanship of this stunning dress. What a great untraditional number for a wedding dress: light peach with some leg show off.
Happy Thursday everyone!

Leandra Medine at the Met Gala 2012?

Alexander McQueen
Did the Man Repeller take over the Met Gala 2012 in New York City yesterday? I wish and you wish. I do not want to sound like a crazy fan, but the girl is crazy fun and I love it about her. She would definitely wear something worth talking, thinking, and yes, laughing about. And of course I would have loved to see what the bow tie & leopard print fanatic would wear to the pop your boobs out in a long tailed dress formal event such as the Met Gala
Here are a few of my suggestions for Leandra. What do you think? :)
{Prabal Gurung}
{Comme des Garcons}

PS. Where was Kate Moss, Blake Lively, and Lady Gaga that night?

The Met Gala 2012

My favourite Mad Men actress, January Jones, looking stunning and
classy in the futuristic Versace dress and Cartier necklace
Yesterday, on May the 8th, 2012, one of the most fashionably important events of the year happened in New York - The Met Costume Institute Gala. As well, as the celebration of the new exhibition "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations". It is incredible that the exhibition consists of works of the two most influential designers in the fashion history.
Let me tell you, the conversations will be very possible if I get to see the exhibition.
I find that the most incredible moment about this year's Met Gala is that there was a live video streaming from the voguemagazine.com. It was a great way to share the experience the atmosphere at the gala's venue ... among with the screaming photographers. By the way, it made me feel great sitting home in my penguin patterned shorts and a neon yellow top and feeling a bit sorry for the celebrities and the media pressure on them. Not only they have to represent themselves in their best, but also showcase their sponsored gowns, accessories and sometimes try to walk the stairs in impossibly tight&long dresses. Ah, now how great it feels to be a regular {yet quite awesome} redheaded individual!
Personally, Amy Adam's look was one of my favourites of the night. She looked very glamorous, clean and classic in her Giambattista Valli dress.
I read many negative reviews on Sarah Jessica Parker's Met Gala's look, yet I find she looked lovely in her floral Valentino dress. Perhaps, I am just a huge fan of hers and I think she makes any fashion item look spectacular and stylish.
Rooney Mara's long black lace Givenchy dress looked divinely perfect on her. I very much enjoyed her dramatic look that suits the star very well.
If I ever get married again or re-married or do a pretend wedding, I will want to wear that Marchesa dress. This dress exactly confirms why Marchesa is a formal dress maestro and detailing genius. Sofia Vergara was probably thinking of how to incorporate ethos dress into the everyday wear, since one should not try to take off this dress once it is on.
Lily Collins in would be my perfect magical forest babushka-friend. Not because of her personality or acting abilities, because of her her natural makeup with great eyebrows and beautiful Valentino dress. Very feminine and Victorian, what's not to love?
Lana Del Rey. Lana Del Rey. Lana Del Rey. You all must know that she is my current mega obsession, and seeing her on the red carper at the Met Gala was a goosebumps moment for me. She looked like a sexy young version of the woman with a poisoned apple from the Sleeping Beauty in her Alturaza dress. This caped look with a bling-ed dress under is exactly how I'd imagine Lana would look at a formal gala.
Camilla Belle looked spectacular in the form fitting Ralph Lauren dress. Even though there are no fireworks and loose threads to dirty talk about - this an awesome dress for the Met Gala. The gothic lip on Belle looks fantastic as well.
One could not notice Coca Rocha at the Met Gala - her bright pink hair ends and a duo highlighter pant outfit by Givenchy will not leave fashion critics silent.
Call me old-fashioned, but I don't approve of the outfit for the glamourous event as the Met Gala. It is not the pants and not the colours that blister my mind, but the whole casual look. I truly think that real glamour should be present at such events. One could wear pants, suits, but they should have that classic chic look with a touch of modern.
See, that is what I am talking about! Rachel Zoe and Karolina Kurkova in the dress by Mrs.Zoe. Very Hollywood chic, head-turning, press-worthy and of course turban-worthy.
One of my favourite designers, Zac Posen, has a great taste in women and I am not surprised he choose a very sexy actress Amber Heard, who wore a dress by Posen of course. Beautiful beautiful light raspberry colour for Amber. She looks like a fine lady from the 30s movies.
Muccia Prada knows fishy business and I know fishy business when I see one wearing it. Carey Mulligan pulled a great golden turned silver fish at the Met Gala in a brighter then the sun dress. I bet the reflective rays from all the camera flashes left someone blind.
I could probably stare at this photo above for the whole day or even a week. Jessica Biel looks just perfect, ideal, right, you name it. Every part of her look is very well done. The Prada dress she is wearing suits her frame incredibly. I love it how this {stunning} dress, that could easily be worn as a cocktail dress,  makes her look so chic for the such a big fashion event as a Met Gala
PS. Jessica's haircut make she drool as well :)
It does look like Kate Blanchet is overdue for a whole body wax, yet I would strongly suggest that she keeps her hairy treasuries. This Alexander McQueen dress is another great example of a proper gala wear.
I always look forward to seeing what Gwyneth Peltrow will wear to an event; will she go naked finally? The Prada number she is wearing has some of the fishy business that Mulligan is wearing, yet this one has more sex to it. I like this classically modern look on Gwyneth very much. Great choice, stylists!
Hey reader, stay stay stay on this page. You haven't skipped to the 18+ blog by an accident, we are still reviewing the Met Gala 2012 fashions. This is Anja Rubik, who is on the top list of my favourite models, wearing a Anthony Maccarello dress that got ripped to the hip bone...by an accident. I joke, I joke. I will say that Anja looks stunning and cool, yes cool, and very confident in this "you've already seen me naked" dress. However, are we ready to see her reproductive system?
all images via yahoo
You didn't think I would skip this photo, did you? Yes, it is the only man who is worth posting a picture of from the Met Gala. Honestly, I am not sure whether Ed Westwick wore a suit by  Chicky Pow Pow or Grrrrrr suit - all I can tell you he looked great.

DID YOU HEAR ? Anna Dello Russo + H&M, Fall 2012

You may stop pouring water glasses over your face, pinching your face, and rubbing your eyes - it is an awesome reality, not a dream, that a mega fashion icon Anna Dello Russo has created an accessory collection for H&M. The collection will hit the stores on October the 4th, 2012 - mark your calendars now, Dello Russo obsessors ! Her accessory collection will consist of about 40 pieces, which will include sunglasses, clutches, bracelets, shoes, bags and probably some other cool accessories Anna would wear.
In the video below, Anna talks about her inspiration for the H&M collection - and it lies in her personal style, her surroundings, and her marvellous apartment. You can also notice how the collection mainly focuses on the golds and turquoise - something that our lovely fashion icon is proudly known for.
I would be more then ecstatic, jumpy, and happy if I could the turquoise clutch with the fox, the must have alligator sunglasses - these are certainly a heirloom item, and a turquoise snake bracelet.
Fall Santa, please make my Dello Russo dream come true? I will feed the Rudolf, I promise.

I am absolutely smitten with Mrs. Hanley-Mellon's apartment in Plaza Hotel, Manhattan, especially the framed prints on the walls. Play of colours, shapes, and prints went well in this apartment :)

Vintage Victoria Secret Catalogue 1979

Hello hello and welcome to the porn magazine Victoria's Secret catalogue of the late 70s!
The bra and panty giant, whose catalogues never leave neither women or men careless, had a pretty impressive sexual catalogue a few decades ago. I would even think that VS's angels just recently converted into angels, before that they were horny sexually aroused devils. Whenever I look at those photos, I get a shy blush, because you can feel models' very welcoming & persuasive look in their eyes. No? Let's look carefully together! {unless you are at work and might be caught watching this vintage porn}
I must admit, that I am very much liking the colours, styles, fabrics, intricate lace detailing in the vintage Victoria Secret catalogue. This is exactly how women's underwear should be like : simple, tasteful, sexy, mono-colored (2 colours maximum) and ... have lace {no questions}. Nowadays, when you step into any major lingerie shop - you find highlighter coloured, tasteless flower printed undergarments, panties with slogans that invite male genitals, and extreme bra padding that could serve as a floating device {I guess Rose should have worn it the day Titanic drowned, Jack would have been alive that way}. I do enjoy the fun prints and bright colours myself, yet I find that girls get them more for attention-gathering purposes rather then for the intimate ones. I believe, that woman should curate her body with lingerie in pastels, blacks, and variation of white tones to speak femininity fluently.
Unlike the first 2 photos, this photo speaks greatly of Victoria Secret and one can certainly get the vibe of the brand. The secret lies in the essence of the school of pink that VS is so popular for {their paper bags and store fronts, you know?}. I believe liking pink and associating women with pink is deeply coded in our DNAs, don't you think?
{Please excuse the the lady on the very right and her secret area exposure. I think she was on the husband lookout at the moment}
As the women solidarity photos continue, I would like to mention that I would like to own every piece on the picture above. Why? I find these pieces very feminine and sexy, erotic if you will. If you look at VS's sexy lines now, you will most likely find push up bras as their main seduction weapon for ladies. Boring. What will you do when padded camouflage and illusion is off? Tell your special person that a bra inhaled your breasts? Tried that trick, wasn't too believable {I joke I joke}. Concludingly, I wish that Victoria Secret would seriously think of designing something similar sometime soon.
I had a very good time looking at those photographs as they are quite amusing to me, especially women's facial expressions, photo props, and their still life poses. For example, let's discuss the photo above. What's the story there? Just a regular Tuesday evening, 3 fully "maked-up" girls in their Victoria Secret lace underwear just chilling on the carpet and talking seductively about how their work day went. Pretty casual story, right ladies?
Another one ... we all can relate. Gentlemen, for your valuable information - this is yet another regular activity girls/women do once they get together - we wear our sheerest underwear we own {the sexier and smaller is better} and do some decorative stitching. Very relaxing.
photos via fashionising
And here is something I would wear - a little strapless romper on the lady on the very left. Quite pornographic, yet, if paired up with a nice cardigan {and a bra} - all sex will vanish away from this look.
